Sunak apologises to former Tory MPs for election losses

[ad_1]

Former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has apologised to Tory MPs who lost their seats in the general election.

He said his party had lost “too many diligent, community-spirited representatives.”

The Conservatives won 121 seats in last week’s general election, making it the worst election result in terms of seats in their history.

The Labour Party won a landslide victory, securing 412 seats.
