Three children have been injured in an attack at a daycare at a shopping centre in the Swiss city of Zurich, police have said.
A spokesperson for the city’s police force said officers were notified of the attack in the Oerlikon area in the north of city shortly after 12:00 local time (11:00 BST).
The man was arrested at the scene and police said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Officers provided no motive for the attack, but said further information would be released later on Tuesday. Local media reported that a large police operation – including a drone – was still ongoing.
